Maximising the use of Newcourt Community Centre

 

Continue to market the Community Centre within and outside Newcourt, deploying additional part-time staff as needed. A key objective is to minimise the need for further grant funding from the local Council beyond that already pledged. Putting in place improvements to help this.

 

The Community Centre continues to be a great facility both for business hire and community use.

For the next two terms, the Centre has a regular 5-day a week booking for the reception class of Trinity Primary School, as well as other day-time business meetings. It is being used increasingly for activities and events that directly serve the community.

There are now three part-time staff who assist the Centre Manager, and two caretakers. An Operations team oversees and supports the Centre Manager. So far this year, storage areas have been made more efficient.
